Lee Allin was born in Walthamstow, he now lives in Weymouth, on the South coast of England. A self taught designer and craftsman he enjoys experimenting with materials and both precious and semi-precious stones. All pieces are hand crafted to a high quality, and hallmarked by the London Assay Office with their own hallmarks and those individual to the work of Lee Allin.

Symbols are objects, pictures or other representations of ideas, concepts or other abstractions. All languages are essentially made up of symbols. Words, whether spoken or written, are often a sequence of symbols that represent something.

An interest in symbols and their meanings has led to the ongoing crafting of many items of jewellery - covering many religions; historical, scientific and mathematical references; and including Medieval, Masonic, Occultic, Christian, Pagan and Egyptian symbols amongst others. Many pieces cross over between sections, many with similar translations, a few with differing. Please note, not all of the jewellery featured upon this website are of an obvious symbolic nature. Symbolism can be also translated from the types of stones used in a piece; the colours of the stone, shape and forms surrounding and within each piece. Also there are some non-symbolic pieces featured within the site.

All pieces are crafted using sterling silver, and using a choice of precious and semi precious stones and crystals. Commissions and enquiries are welcome, please view the gallery which contains previously cmmisioned pieces. Individual designs can be made to order, making perfect and unique gifts for any occasion.
